Protesters wish to present the company moguls with oversize inspections as a symbol of their savings when NY Condition's 2 % tax on riches expires in December, it stated. "90-nine percent from the citizens of NY are likely to are afflicted by this tax giveaway therefore the 1 % who already reside in absolute luxury can put more income within their pockets," Doug Forand, among the march coordinators, told the Daily News. Gov. Andrew Cuomo has opposed calls from fellow Dems to resume the tax, which creates as much as $5 billion each year in revenue, quarrelling that could drive wealthy citizens away.
